We are Angelica and Abasi, amateur photographers. This is our blogsite where we will post our photographs from places we will visit and photoshoots we will participate in with our photography group we just joined. We have met a lot of really nice people who share much information about photography. We hope you enjoy our pictures.
We went to the Zoo and learned how to use long lens. This really brought the animals up close.
It was great to catch the giraffe with his tongue out
The lions are so beautiful sitting on top of the rock. Relaxing in the warm sun.
Doesn’t this make you want to yawn?
Abasi was very good leading us through the park using a map.
Abasi also took time out for a little fun
…but we worked hard taking photographs as well
Abasi is using a Nikon D80 camera with a Nikon 55-200mm lens
Angelica is using a Nikon D80 camera with a Nikon 70-300mm lens. These are the cameras we are learning photography with. A friend of ours lets us use her cameras when we go on photoshoots.
Now for our other photos from the Zoo.
Look at the eyes on this bird.
This Orangutan sure could use brushing. He was messy.
THE FOLLOWING PICTURES ARE FROM THE RECENT WORKSHOP ON STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY
All the photographers take turns being a model for each of us to practice photographing.
Sometimes we like to have a little fun while waiting our turn to photograph our models
Angelica was also a model for the photographers
That ends this segment of photo shoots. Thanks for viewing.
Check back soon for more photographs from our trips and photoshoots we will be taking in the near future.
